The awareness of sustainable fabrics grow and the word sustainable can mean a lot of different things, but to sure that you are making a right choice with your purchases, we help you knowing our fabrics and certifications.

Recycled polyester

Recycled polyester is an eco-friendly choice as it is yarn made out of recycled PET plastic.

This also means that recycled polyester is beneficial to the reduction of plastic waste. PET is the material you find in clear plastic water bottles. 

Organic cotton

Organic cotton means that the cotton has been grown on fields without the use of pesticides, chemical fertilisers, and defoliants. 

Organic cotton is grown using methods that have a low impact on the environment.

GOTS certified cotton

Actually, the four letters "GOTS" (The Global Organic Textile Standard) are highly important as the GOTS means that the cotton is certified with the leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including both ecological and social criteria. 

EcoVero viscose

EcoVero means that the viscose fibers are derived from sustainable wood and pulp, coming from certified and controlled sources.

EcoVero are certified with the EU Ecolabel which is awarded to products with a significantly lower environmental impact throughout their lifecycle. 

Modal

Lenzing Modal is produced using Edelweiss technology which is an eco-friendly process.

This means that the fiber is carbon-neutral. 

Tencel

Tencel Lyocell is a natural cellulose fibre from the renewable raw material wood, created by photosynthesis. 

The closed loop production process transforms wood pulp into cellulosic fibers with high resource efficiency and low environmental impact.
