GOTS
GOTS-certified cotton, grown organically under the Global Organic Textile Standard, offers significant environmental benefits compared to conventional cotton. For instance, according to a group of international researchers, organic farming increases biodiversity by approximately 30% on average compared to conventional farming methods.
Every stage of the manufacturing process—from the moment the cotton leaves the farm to the production of the finished garment—is evaluated against GOTS' stringent social and environmental criteria. These criteria ensure safe workplaces, fair wages, and legal working hours while strictly prohibiting child labor, forced labor, and discrimination. Additionally, all companies along the supply chain are required to actively reduce the environmental impact of their production.
Garments labeled with "GOTS Organic" contain at least 95% organic cotton, whereas those bearing the "GOTS Made with X% Organic" label include a minimum of 70% organic cotton.
GRS
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certifies garments made with at least 50% recycled materials from pre- or post-consumer waste, reducing dependence on virgin resources. It ensures that every step of the supply chain, from the sourcing of recycled materials to the finished garment, meets strict environmental and social criteria. These include ensuring safe working conditions, fair wages, and following fair labor practices. GRS also enforces good chemical management by banning harmful substances and advocating for safer chemical handling, which helps protect both workers and the environment.
BSCI
Certified production units means that all our production facilities are BSCI, SA8000® or similarly certified. This guarantees full compliance with leading social standards for everyone involved in the production.
LENZING™
LENZING™ ECOVERO™, TENCEL™ Modal and TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are certified with the EU Ecolabel, which means they meet high environmental standards. They are made from responsibly sourced wood and produced using less water and emitting less carbon than standard viscose, modal and lyocell. These fibers are biodegradable and compostable, meaning they naturally break down in the environment. For added comfort, they are also soft, smooth, and naturally resistant to odors.
